got myself a new car stereo today, having it fitted on thursday...just thought you should know
got to go back to the hospital about my foot on thursday too...it'll gimme chance to test the stereo :D
been bored at work this week...various interesting things have happened though...foolish people!
thinking of changing my phone to pay & go...i'll let you know

how bloggy good is this...?
i think i've found myself somewhere to live...it's great
i'll be moving into my brother's place as he'll be moving into his lady's place and doesn't want to sell his flat so he's offered it to me for the knock down rate of £350 pcm, that's over £200 a month cheaper than when i was in my flat...SWEET!!!

i'm going to cornwall for the weekend soon, hopefully i'll either have moved by then or will be moving not long after, going to cornwall just to chill and get away for a while, looking forward to it
my foot is still killing me, really unhappy about a few things, including some problems at work which are as a result of things not being sorted for me...restricted duties means No creche, No lifeguarding and NO gymnastics set-ups...but since coming back i've done all 3 including a full gymnastics breakdown today on my own...most definately not a happy bunny
the japanese isn't going very well at the moment, but then i've ben back at work and not really had much in the way of spare time to do things like that...anyway, i will learn something, i must!
i have finally seen the italian job, the original and best i mean...very good, i got it with jen's "xmas present"...also got the chronicles of riddick (good) hellboy (better) shrek 2 (best)...don't remember buying any cd's recently which is surprising, but now i've decided to try and save some cash what with moving soon
watched the jerry springer opera thing on bbc2 when it was on, i know it was a while ago now, but i've not blogged for a while. to be honest, i can't see what all the fuss was about, i enjoyed it, though it was a bit strange to hear people singing expletives, best quote was "three nipple cousin fucker"...also worked it out that if it's true taht there were over 8000 expletives in the 2 hours then that's over 1 a second, and seeing as there was a vague storyline to it, and by vague i mean more than your average porn film, i don't think it was possible. so i sat and thought abuot it for a while and i've assumed that the people who counted all this swearing counted the number of peole who were swearing and not the number of times it was heard, so 30 people sining fuck, which is heard once is counted as 30 times...if this is a case, there is more swearing at a football match, when half the crowd start that well known chant, the one about the ref being a wanker, that could be 10000 voices, so once through that "the referee's a wanker" is 10000 expletives and you know that it doesn't just go the once...lets say it's chanted 5 times, that's 50000 expletives, that's over 40000 more than jerry springer...anyway
nothing much else to report, been fairly un-interesting recently to be honest!
finally a quick shout to dk for getting her theory test done and dusted...nice one sugar!

Finally...
...after months of waiting and trying to get there i got to see the incredibles last night...and it was worth the wait! all in all i had a really good night last night, cinema, company, the ability to drive!
things are looking up!
popped into work this morning to sort out what's going on next week when i go back, i've asked to be put on light duties and not lifeguard as i'm not confident in my own abilities at the moment, but over the next week i'm sure that i'll get better.
went out spending money yesterday, got myself a nice little digital camera, sony cybershot l1 for those who wanna know, also got a printer thing with it nice and cheap, sony dpp fp30 or something like that, not done anything with either f them yet, but i intend to have a play with them today :)
also purchased "japanese for dummies" so i can actually do something about one of my resolutions this year, although i'm not sure japanese is going to be easy, it'll be a challenge though and that's what i'm after
feeling a bit better today and yesterday, monday was a bit shitty, getting a bit confused about a few things and it's making me seem unhappy when really i'm fine and that...just thinking, i think thinking should've been something i gave up for new years...lol
anyway i'm going to go and sort out dinner in a minute and then this afternoon i'm going to play with my camera and learn japanese

Christmas
was a quiet one, not enough was drunk and i got loads of socks :(
Christmas - roger's birthday
got my big xmas pressie...a laptop, i've still not broken it either...so that's good!
went to the pub a couple of times, drank more...always healthy
roger's birthday
usual plan, arrange to meet i the pub early, get there at least half hour late to compensate for his lack of punctuality, drink lots, head to roger's parents place, drink more, stumble home in the wee small hours...

had options, decided the best would be to visit a mate and have a "quiet" one seeing as i'd put my foot through a lot the night before at the pub and i didn't really want to run the risk of a busy pub and having someone stand on it...much alcohol was consumed, but not a great deal by me, i was just chilling
