that friday feeling

ok it's friday, yesterday was a nice and chilled day for me, i didn't work last night in the pub and well, pretty much everything i did yesterday was chilled and relaxed :)
i sat back and watched my name is earl, i'm now about half way through season one and i think it's awesome, i sat and watched some of the special features as well. i think it's an awesome show and i'm gutted i missed so many of them when they were shown on TV...anyway 'm making up for it now :)
also watched casino royale, the latest bond films, and i've got to say i was suitably surprised, i enjoyed it loads. they made a load of references back to the older bonds, including the nice use of an old aston martin and the sexual innuendo laden names (although i can't remember what it was that he called her now...) and for being an institution, the blond bond did himself proud. it also helped out with a few things that me and a couple of mates have discussed in the past (like why there can be some many different bonds and all that...we came up with it being a code name that's passed around a bit...seems logical now too)
today i went into the printshop and did some work, but the amount that was in would've taken the old guy most of the day and probably some of monday too...but it took me 3 hours, and seeing as there was nothing else left for me to do i packed up and finished for the day :)
i think i'm going to go in on tuesday over there and finish up a couple of things and then i'm all done as i start a full time driving job on monday (not working tuesday because i've got to go to the dentist and i've got an interview late in the afternoon, not working thursday either because i'm going on a course to get my personal license for the pub :) )
should also hear back in monday as to if i've been successful with the rental application, which could mean that this time next week i'm flapping around trying to make sure that i've packed everything ready for moving...

i know what you all think about the situation and i'm glad i've had some form of input from you all...but in honesty, i know what i'm doing at the moment. she's off for a couple of weeks tomorrow and i don't want to say anything until she gets back at least, it's not fair
besides there's a possibility of someone else on the scene anyway

interview
yesterday i had that interview
it was crap
the interview wasn't bad, but the job was, the job was basically sitting there and matching invoices to delivery notes...and that's it, from 8.30 to 5.30, monday to friday, and seeing as it was work for an agency, the money would be less than i'm getting through the pub, so although i've not heard back from them ,i'm not going to accept the position if they do...i want something full time tha ti can get my teeth into, i understand that i'm more than likely going to need to start from the bottom and work up from there, but i'm as sure as hell not going to sit there matching one bit of paper with another for peanuts with an agency, not knowing if i'll be there much longer than a week...

i've got a cold from somewhere...it's not col seeing as i want to go out to a gig tomorrow night, the guy i'm (hopefully) seeing is called richard walters, he's had a song used in CSI and played the SXSW festival in the states, but he's a local boy from the oxford area, so it should be a good time :)
i got my car back yesterday, it cost considerably less than i was thinking it might, which was a bonus. and having it back means i can drive fast again :)

anyway i've got to to and get ready for work in a second
