it's been a week
only a week, but still, surely you'd think i should've said something since last week!
well it seems blogging buddies are dropping like flies this year
not heard anything from becca for a while, fu has just announced he's turning his back on the blog life and switching to facebook, rawbean slipped out earlier, as did steve novak...
oh well, i'll just add them to the list which also includes woja and tochy...people that con't really blog anymore list
an quick update on the car, i've got it back...it's becoming a money pit though, whihc is pissing me off...think i'll just get rid of it when the work has finished...
yeah that's right, i've got it back, but the works not finished yet...
you remember the comment i made about the bonnet blowing open while the bloke from the garage came to get it...well they've got me a bonnet, and it's a different colour to the original! but they have said that they'll re-spray it for me, so that's ok
work is hectic at the moment
i'm not getting enough sleep at the moment
i'm feeling very lonely most of the time
not a lot else to say at the moment
there was a big report on the radio news today about suicide, and that every day 3 men between 18 and 35 kill themselves in the UK each day, it's the main reason for death in this gender/age bracket... can you believe that? i can...i'm in this age bracket and i've contemplated t many times, from wondering what it would feel like and how much it would hurt to do something like slit my wrists to driving my car way too fast and just rolling it or making it hit a wall to wondering if i'd notice myself slipping away if i took an overdose. the general consensus was that men don't feel like they can talk to anyone about their problems and that they put up a mask of being this happy jovial person when others are around. having been there and done that, it's all true. but it also doesn't help when you think about opening up to someone and that person thinks that you're talking rubbish, or is more concerned in relating every thing that you tell them back into being about them and how difficult their life is and all that. or worse still,the person you're opening up to doesn't take it seriously, they eother focus on one thing that they feel is important (in my case the counsellor that i was seeing took her issue with my family, and seemed to think that my relationship to my siblings and the fact that i referred to them all as brothers and sisters when they are only half brothers and half sisters) or, and this can sometimes be worse, they think that your problems are pathetic, petty or trivial (in my case this related back to the last full time job i had and the fact tat i was less than happy in it, the person i spoke to when i tried to open up about it told me that i was being stupid and that it was all in my head and i should get a grip on myself). these reactions will often lead to the depressed person feeling lower than they do already, and will make them even more introverted when it comes to dealing with the problems that they face. it made me feel worse, it also made me feel less and less comfortable with opening up to people about my issues. i've chosen specific people in the past to help me through rough times, some of these people are still in my life now, some thankfully are not. but even now, knowing that there are people out there who are willing to help and are capable of just listening and offering helpful advice, doesn't mean that i'm willing to open up to them...some of them read this blog, they know that i've called them or texted them when i needed to get something off my chest, but others who read this know that this is used as an outlet for me, and that's part of the way i cope with things. but ever increasingly, im finding that i am becoming more introverted with regards to depression and telling people that i've got a problem and that i am asking for help...because i don't want the reactions that i've had from the people that are no longer around or the sympathy that comes my way too
i know it's tmi tuesday again, but i think the whole thing above covers me for this week with regards to the tmi thing...

ok so i'm back from my over night trip, lets just say it was more than a little pointless and very boring

this weeks post comes with the usually warning, but to be honest it's fairly tame i think, so feel free to learn more about me :)
1. What is your favorite charity? Do you you give your time or just money to that charity?
I try to give to charities that i know people are doing something for, i don't just give every month to charity. recently i sponsored a friend who had her head shaved, that was for SSNAP (sick babies and children). i gave to age concern for a while, but then my budget meant that i couldn't give as much any more...
so i don't have a favourite really, and i give money if i can spare it
2. Describe your bed. What side do you sleep on?
it's a double bed, pine head board, always got a thick duvet on it, even in the summer because i'm like that. i sleep on the side nearest the door...
3. How important is a partners kissing ability?
it's pretty important, i'm after someone who has many different styles of kissing and not just the full on "i'm kissing a washing machine" type of kiss. so as long as i can get the loving gentle kisses, the full-on washing machine kisses and everything in between without getting injured (yes that's happened in the past) then i'm happy

TMI tuesday again
OK it's TMI time again
this week does definately come with a disclaimer that if you choose to read on, you do so at your own behest as the answers this week will surely be TMI, and i've only read the questions so far, not even formulated my answers...
anyway here we go
1. Have you ever orgasmed sitting at your computer? What was the situation?
yes, yes i have, although the situation will remain private between me and the other person involved...but it was a lot of fun
and i defy any male (and some women) to sit there and say they've not surfed for porn at home and not done something about it...
2. Ever been sexual harassed? What happened?

TMI
I'm knackered and washed out after today's assessment day, unfortunately i didn't get offered the position...but i'll give a full post on that and everything else tomorrow, until then it's TMI time people...the usual rules apply, read on only if you really want to know...

TMI tuesday
this week things seem to have taken an interesting twist...so you're less likely to find out things about me that might be considered rude and more liekly to find things tha you might not have thought of as being TMI style...you'll see what i mean
Would you rather...
1. be famous now & forgotten after you die or forgotten now & famous after you die, forever? & Why?
there's pro's and con's for both, be famous now and get plenty of women, hounded by the paperazzi, be seen as an idol, be seen as a role model, be in the tabloids as they document my "fall from grace"
i think i'd rather be dead and famous than alive and have to live with it, at least if i'm dead there's a good chance that i'm famous for a reason (unlike some celebrities that are around at the moment...)
2. give blood or read Hamlet? & Why?
on a technicality i can't give blood at the moment...there's a time period in which you can't give blood after having a tattoo, i think it's 6 months, i'm still in this time, but i've also read hamlet...hmmm, i do like the speeches in hamlet, and i'm not keen on needles, so i guess it's hamlet
3. be extravagantly rich, but hated by others or be well loved and admired, but dirt poor? & Why?
money can't buy you happiness, and that's very true, i'd rather have friends than money, friends can pick you up when you are down, hug you when you need it, money is just cold and hard
4. be imprisoned for the rest of your life or kill someone? & Why?
if i kill someone i'll go to prison anyway...
or is the question that if i don't kill someone i'll be imprisoned?
i'd kill
no idea if i'd be good at it, but i'd do it, i like my freedom, i like being able to do what i want, when i want, i like the idea that i can up and leave if i want to, i like the idea that i can do things without reason or need. i'll admit that i don't make muhc of my freedom at present, ubt i like the idea that it's there should i want to do something about it
5. fight Mike Tyson or talk like him? & Why?
apart from the old classic, "i'm a lover not a fighter", there's not a lot i could say about it...i guess talking like him wouldn't be as bad as getting my ass whooped by him and then having to talk like him anyway...
Bonus (as in optional): Who would you kill if you were guaranteed to get away with it?
i'm fairly sure i've answered something like this somewhere before, in honesty, i'd have to write a list of people that i'd bump off and then just pick the one that bugs me the most and kill them, i'd then have the others assassinated i think, although i might get a taste for it and as such want to do them over myself ;)

not that i can recall, i think there have been a few opportunities over the years but they just didn't happen

1 Do you think people in general are too forgiving of or too harsh on promiscuous women? Promiscuous men?
prom women tend to get a bad reputation, whereas prom men tend to be able to brag about it more...i think it's just another cultural double standard that i just don't agree with.
2 Suppose you've been dating someone for a year, and they're slowly getting fat. Does this romance have long-term potential?
i don't have a problem with someone putting on weight, as long as they don't lose the thing that got me interested in them at first i don't care what they do
3 If you have five VERY successful dates with someone, are you a couple?
dunno, surely by this time you'd be looking to have a chat about that sort of thing definately, if you haven't already done so. it depends on the people though, personally i'd want to find out what was going on, it's pointless you thinking you're a couple and the other thinking that you're not...

depends on the person, some people lie and cheat because of insecurities, some do it for the thrill, some do it by "accident" (these usually involve alcohol)

that varies from person to person

1) What are three mistakes someone could make on the first date with you that would automatically make you turn down a second date with them?
three mistakes, i'm not normally that shallow, i tend to try to get to know someone first before deciding if they are worth dating, this usually stops the crap that can lead to not making a second date...but in the nature of TMI...here goes
1) talking through the film/show/whatever (i tend to pick first dates to be a pub or similar so tha tthis isn't an issue) you know the type i mean, the ones who sit there and want to know what's going on, so while you explain to them what you think is happening you miss the next bit of the film, which they subsequently ask about...
2) thinking i'm stupid, i know i'm not a brain surgeon, but people who feel the need to explain every little thing several times to me just bug me
3) people who think that they are the centre of the world

tough one, i could so easily use the old intro to bravestarr (strength of the bear, eyes of the eagle, ears of the wolf, speed of the puma and all that) but one of the guys in the pub used that last night when his lady friend asked him about his best physical feature...until she asked him about the lack of a horse reference, i told him he should tell her he's hung like a hamster...he did
so with that in mind i could go with hyena, because i laugh at things a lot

depends on how god it was before she stopped and if there was a reason as to why she stopped and you've got to factor into it other issues that may be around, like living situation...i'd probably stay a couple of months...
4) Are you more passive or aggressive when the relationship becomes physical?
depends largely on who i'm with, in the past i've been both
it also depends on how long its been since last time we did it...
5) Have you ever been INSIDE a store that sold adult themed toys and videos?
Yes, i challenge any man to tell you he hasn't and be honest about it (although now i think about it i could probably think of one or two people that it might be questionable as to if they had or hadn't)
Bonus: What percentage of women do you think are capable of handling being in a "friends with benefits" relationship? How about men?
I thik there's way more men that would be comfortable with the idea of being in that kind of relationship than women, although i know a few women who are ok with the idea, they have been in the past a friend of mine with these benefits...but no more is the case...thankfully in some cases (they went a little funny and started almost stalking me...)

1. Which is more appealing and why - a life of leisure or a life of accomplishment?
i'm living a "life of leisure" at the moment because i'm jobless...it's not all it's not all that :( i'm sure though if i put my mind to it i could accomplish something, probably leading to a much more leisurely life...

i honestly have no idea, i'm assuing we're talking about passionate kisses here...i used to ba able to name all the girls i'd kissed, but then i became a bit of a slut...it's probably 50 ish but i'm just guessing there

i'd like to end up with someone grounded, who knows what i'm like and what i like, as well as knowing her own mind. I want someone who is tolerent of the annoying little things i do. i want someone who is will look after me as much as i'll look after them. i want someone who i can roll over in the morning and smile at
5. If you're dating someone, is it okay to flirt with other people?
hell yeah it's ok! if that person isn't ok with it you just have to remin them that it doesn't matter how much you flirt with someone it's not them that you go home with, it's not them that you wake up next to in the morning and it's not them that you say "i love you" to. besides i find it a turn on to know that other men find my date attractive and it's a good feeling when they leave that bloke to come and chat to you and kiss you

i'm living a "life of leisure" at the moment because i'm jobless...it's not all it's not all that :( i'm sure though if i put my mind to it i could accomplish something, probably leading to a much more leisurely life...
2. How many people have you kissed, not counting family?
i honestly have no idea, i'm assuing we're talking about passionate kisses here...i used to ba able to name all the girls i'd kissed, but then i became a bit of a slut...it's probably 50 ish but i'm just guessing there
3. How many times have you ever been in love?
i'd hate to guess, i read someplace once that you fall in love an average of 3 times in your life, i think i've fell in love more than that, if i had to put a figure on it i'd say 5 times
4. Regardless of what's right for you now, would you say you have a good idea of the kind of person you'd like to end up with? Can you, will you tell us?
i'd like to end up with someone grounded, who knows what i'm like and what i like, as well as knowing her own mind. I want someone who knows that it's important to have different interests and part of being with someone is learning about what makes them tick. I want someone who is tolerent of the annoying little things i do. i want someone who is will look after me as much as i'll look after them. i want someone who i can roll over in the morning and smile at
5. If you're dating someone, is it okay to flirt with other people?
hell yeah it's ok! if that person isn't ok with it you just have to remin them that it doesn't matter how much you flirt with someone it's not them that you go home with, it's not them that you wake up next to in the morning and it's not them that you say "i love you" to. besides i find it a turn on to know that other men find my date attractive and it's a good feeling when they leave that bloke to come and chat to you and kiss you

yesterday's TMI i forgot it...i'm a bad boy
1. What is your all-time favorite gift (whether given or received by you)?
i've given flowers to lots of people, they always go down well, one year i cut out the middle of a dictionary at the word love and gave my then girlfriend a necklace hidden in the hollow, she nearly hit me with it before she realised that there was only one word in that dictionary (love)...it took her a while.
best recieved...woja got me a battle tank one year, i've still got it, it's fucking awesome, but alas, he's the only other person that i know that's got one and so we don't get to battle very often :(
2. Where was the first place you ever passionately kissed?
the obvious answer here would be on the lips...but i think you're after more than that, like on the stairs when i was 13, had to be on the stairs, she was shorter than me by quite a bit, she's taller now, but i was still 6' back then...
3. Where was the first place you ever had sex?
it was on the floor in the living room at my folks house (they were both at work) and we'd put a film on in the background but neither of us were going to watch it
4. Have you ever had sex in your parent's home?
many times, mainly because i've lived there for ages
5. Have you ever met anyone in person that you met via your blog? Have you ever kissed anyone you met via your blog? Have you ever done more?
i've met a couple of people through my blog, fuckkit was the first, she invited me out for sunday lunch with some of her mates, that was cool
then i met lindsey (then though she was linny) we had a good time too, and a few beers, we kissed and cuddled at the end of the night (no tongues though) that's as far as we got though...
