ok it's friday, yesterday was a nice and chilled day for me, i didn't work last night in the pub and well, pretty much everything i did yesterday was chilled and relaxed :)
i sat back and watched my name is earl, i'm now about half way through season one and i think it's awesome, i sat and watched some of the special features as well. i think it's an awesome show and i'm gutted i missed so many of them when they were shown on TV...anyway 'm making up for it now :)
also watched casino royale, the latest bond films, and i've got to say i was suitably surprised, i enjoyed it loads. they made a load of references back to the older bonds, including the nice use of an old aston martin and the sexual innuendo laden names (although i can't remember what it was that he called her now...) and for being an institution, the blond bond did himself proud. it also helped out with a few things that me and a couple of mates have discussed in the past (like why there can be some many different bonds and all that...we came up with it being a code name that's passed around a bit...seems logical now too)
today i went into the printshop and did some work, but the amount that was in would've taken the old guy most of the day and probably some of monday too...but it took me 3 hours, and seeing as there was nothing else left for me to do i packed up and finished for the day :)
i think i'm going to go in on tuesday over there and finish up a couple of things and then i'm all done as i start a full time driving job on monday (not working tuesday because i've got to go to the dentist and i've got an interview late in the afternoon, not working thursday either because i'm going on a course to get my personal license for the pub :) )
should also hear back in monday as to if i've been successful with the rental application, which could mean that this time next week i'm flapping around trying to make sure that i've packed everything ready for moving...

just a quick little post
news post is below for those who want to know more about what's going on
but until then i'm folding my arms in smug satisfaction.

ok lodas to report, things that i've been sitting on a while
ok maybe a while is a little bit of an exaggeration
things that i've been sitting on since tuesday...
1.) i have a full time job...the driving one that i was on about yesterday. this is a full time job, that's the important bit. the print shop work isn't full time, and as such wasn't helping things out as much as i'd have liked. however, i'm going to keep doing some work for the print shop on an ad hoc basis because it's fun work and it's not like i can't do it :)
2.) i've found a flat to live in, and although it's a bit on the less desirable side of things, once it's been made a little homely i'm sure it'll be fine. and i've got a flat mate to live there as well, making things a little easier for both of us :)
3.) things on the woman front are as always a little weird, i think that there's a possibility of someone coming along and things will be ok...but we shall see what happens there, i'mnot holding my breath though
so all in all the plan looks to be going ahead :)
wuhoo!!
anyway that's all really, i promise something fun for tomorrow peeps :)

proper hanging...
i went out last night
didn't realise that is was going to be a big night out though...
felt proper hanging this morning when i woke up after under 4 hours sleep because of it
felt fine last night though
but then last night i'd had:
1 pint of guinness
5 bottles of guinness
5 bottles of corona
and 5 shooters
it was a good night :)
and there were LOTS of fit young ladies about too
anyway just to keep you guys informed
i didn't get the flat that i'd put the offer in for (which is fine with me, like i said, it was too small for the money)
i've still not been paid from the print shop, apparently i'll get something on friday (i'll believe that when i see it)
but i'm in a better mood
i worked monday night, which was good, it'll give me a bit extra for next week :)
the quiz was pretty good, still played, even though i was working, but was a member of the bar team, which was me, steffi and sweet...sweet doesn't work there, he's just there all the time!

loads of stuff
ok so i'm checking in with the usual monday madness...
ok saturday i put an offer in for the house that i saw last week, think i'll be withdrawing it though as i'm just not interested in moving there because it was a hole!
and way too small and pokey for the money they want for it
besides i really need to sort out teh job before getting someplace to live...
i went out on saturday afternoon with some people i didn't know, although i do now...
that was cool
i had a good time

sunday was spent just chilling
i finally got round to watching napoleon dynamite...thought it was pretty good, although it wasa little weird in places...still i liked it :) then i had to go to work, work was ok, was feeling a little bleurgh though and really just wasn't into it...
today things are boring
work is ok, but the boss was in earlier (the one who is supposed to be on longterm sick leave) and irritated me and the other bloke here...and i've still not been paid, i'm supposed to get money every other week, i was told i'd get it mid week last week, then told i'll get it on friday...and i'm still waiting
it's pissing me off because i need the money!
everything today is pissing me off though
just fed up with it all

st. paddy's day
ok so today is the day that every one is a little irish :)
that can only end up being messy!
anyway
tonight i intend on having a couple of pints of guinness
maybe a jamesons or two, depending on how i decide i'm travelling back (if i'm driving then i'll just have a couple of pints)
i'm sure we'll be listening to the pogues and other such bands (hopefully not westlife or boyzone even though they are irish...)
and it will be good

friday funtime
hey hey peeps
how's it all going with you all?
things with me are not too bad at all
i think i've conquered my fear of the dentist...so life is all good
although my mouth is really sore today (it's not the only bit of my that's sore, but more on that in a minute...)
so i had my 2nd wisdom tooth out yesterday and one of the 5 fillings that i need done. only one because basically i have that many issues with the dentist that i hate going and usually when i need to have work done i have to be sedated...but in trying to get over this i went in yesterday and had the work done without sedation...just the local needle thingy and that's it
and i coped quite well :)
just aches today because of the removal...
anyway, my backside is sore!
now there's a decent reason for this...
i bought myself a new bike, and i rode the 5 miles to work this morning
it felt good, although my arse hurts because i've not been on a bike for about 5 years! and i'm unfit, so the plan is to cycle as often as possible as in attempt to save money and get fit...
all good :)
now at the start of the week i wasn't feeling myself, i was feeling a little blue and i've been a quiet as a result. but, i'm getting through it ok and well i've had this with me all week too, sad i know, but it's kinda made me feel better :)
now...
the eagle-eyed of you may have noticed yestrerday that a new link was added to the site...for the 365 P(roject)X which is basically just me joining in with some things that other people are doing. basically i'll be putting up a pick of myself every day that i'll take on that day...it's not like HNT, these are going to solely be portraits, i may have a play with them when i get more into photoshop...but at the moment they're just being taken using my phone

kissing injury
ok so there seems to be a fair bit of interest generated by yesterday's TMI as to how i got injured while kissing...
remember
i like kissing
and being kissed
but sometimes you meet someone who could put you off for a while
well this one girl that i hooked up with, she was really nice, pretty, tall, the sort that i'd go for on a looks basis alone (if i were that shallow, her name was rachel...see i found that out first)
anyway, while kissing her she sucked my tongue
this is itself isn't that bad
but she really sucked on it and was sucking it out of my mouth...
now i have a fat long ish tongue...which goes out a fair way
but the webbing under my tongue, well i know where it is and i can't stick my tongue out further than that allows
this girl sucked so hard that the webbing was cut on my teeth!
it hurt for days and i had issues eating some things and shit like that...
it was NOT cool
anyway, i didn't take her number or anything (which is a little bit of a shame because she was cute) so i never saw her again

this weeks post comes with the usually warning, but to be honest it's fairly tame i think, so feel free to learn more about me :)
1. What is your favorite charity? Do you you give your time or just money to that charity?
I try to give to charities that i know people are doing something for, i don't just give every month to charity. recently i sponsored a friend who had her head shaved, that was for SSNAP (sick babies and children). i gave to age concern for a while, but then my budget meant that i couldn't give as much any more...
so i don't have a favourite really, and i give money if i can spare it
2. Describe your bed. What side do you sleep on?
it's a double bed, pine head board, always got a thick duvet on it, even in the summer because i'm like that. i sleep on the side nearest the door...
3. How important is a partners kissing ability?
it's pretty important, i'm after someone who has many different styles of kissing and not just the full on "i'm kissing a washing machine" type of kiss. so as long as i can get the loving gentle kisses, the full-on washing machine kisses and everything in between without getting injured (yes that's happened in the past) then i'm happy
4. Have you ever purposely tried to seduce someone over a long period of time?
taking time to get to know someone isn't seducing them...but yeah i've done that before, it sometimes works, it sometimes goes very wrong...but you know what, i'd rather take my time with someone, learning about them and what makes them tick than run in and get it all wrong in the first 5 minutes, making myself look foolish/desperate/needy and offending them
5. Top or bottom?

do i prefer being on top or underneath...that depends, i like both

Yes

maybe a lay-in will help

that's better :)
right
i went off the radar this week a little
but yesterday and friday i did something that i've needed to do for a while
i went out on the lash
i went and got drunk
and it was good
i did it a couple of weeks ago in high wycombe with my mate who's at uni there...
but this weekend was something different, this weekend i was at home and just drank locally...
this weekend it wasn't a big group of people
this weekend is wasn't so much about mixed company
this weekend was all about putting money across the bar and just kicking back.
it started friday, i decided that after finishing early i'd wing into the pub and have a pint before heading home, i actually ended up having 2 before heading home, but that was ok, i went home, didn't have any dinner, chilled out for a while then went back over to the pub to pick up the chef. now this is the same chaf that got sacked from the pub i work at, and i see him a fair amount these days. well we had a couple of pints there and headed back to deadcat for a few more and not having to worry about the car...
a few more became 6 or 7 i think...
i got in at about 3 saturday morning
but more importantly i'd had a good time
saturday i had to get up and be in work for 11 in the morning (pub work)
it was a very slow day, it's the first real sunny weekend so everyone is out in the garden and doing things and not coming to the pub...anyway when i finished i intended to go next door for one pint and then head home.
when i got next door i bumped into a few of the guys that i went out with the other week
one pint became 3
then we moved venues and went back into the pub where i had spent all day working
those 3 got added to
with 5 more
again it was a good night
i crashed out at a mates house on the sofa
got up at about 8 this morning, walked back to the pub because i'd been a good boy and left the car there and drive home
so ive been out a couple of times this weekend and had a very good time
it was a much needed time it has to be said
i was able to switch off and chill
it was all good
anyway, that's what i've been up to this weekend

this was on wednesday morning, it's for a sports centre that's not even built yet...so this was literally just a find out a bit more about me and see what jobs i could do at the centre kind of interview...
it seemed to go pretty well though, i talked a lot, but then that's what this interview was all about...me :)
it'll be a couple of months until i find out what's going on there though...

was wednesday afternoon, bit of a follow up to last weeks emergency appointment and a check up (needed because i don't like going to the dentist and it's been about 2 years since i last went...)
unfortunately he told me that he wants to take out my other wisdom tooth from the top jaw...there's a couple of fillings as well, these were expected. but worse still was that he's got to refer me to the hospital to have my other wisdom tooth out because it's growing the wrong way and it's so bad that he can't do it himself...
see i'm not a fan of the dentist and it's things like this that make it worse

(i'm going to have to look there more often for songs for a friday)
anyway this song is cool, it's an old track, at least 10 years ago now, and it reminds me of the time when i was first into metal and was looking at all the bands around with opened awe
anyway have a good weekend peeps, i'm working all day tomorrow at the pub, but i'll try and call in with you all at some point over the weekend :)
oh and natalia, thanks for the info on the sitemeter thing, have my own now...curious as to why someone would look up blowjob chunder and get me as top of the list...anyway...it's also shwon up a few other things, i can now tell where people are from easier...which means that for some places i can guess who that person is...like the view hiding out there who's checked in from wangen in germany...

quiz night last night peeps...lindsey, you nearly got a message asking where the saints and the raiders are from, but i knew that one :) no idea how, but i knew it anyway :)
we did very well last night, although we still struggle with the idea that when someone else wins the round with us we have to get the tie break right...we failed on a tie break last night, but we won the tv and films round outright, tied in the sports round and got the highest score of the night for all four rounds (some 4 points clear of the nearest team) then to top it all off we won the pontoon play-off to try and win the jackpot, which stood at a mere £93 this week, and we won that too...which only amounted to £11.50 ish each...but that's better than a kick in the balls :)
i was thrown a little last night though because tango girl was back...i thought she was still on holiday...anyway enough of that ;)
films
over the weekend i sat and watched 4 films
and enjoyed them all
first up i watched saw 3...this is by far the goriest of the 3 films and although i half got the plot twists through the film i didn't get all of them...i like the trilogy, i like the idea behind them and the way the stories pan out...but this one did have me feeling a little rough during the opening few scenes...but hey, the more i watch it the less sensative i'll become, right?
next up was the da vinci code, now i read the book for this about 2 years ago, and i wanted to see it while it was at the cinema, bt the girlie i was with at the time wanted to watch it after she'd read the book, which i leant her because i'm good like that, but she just never read it...anyway i've seen it now, and i'm glad i have, it was very good, from what i remember of the book, it held very close/true to the story, thankfully, i'm not a fan of films that deviate from a stroy book (prime example is american psycho or high fidelity, both are awesome books, but the films are so very different form them, in the case of AP they missed big chunks out and in HF they changed the whole lot, i mean the book is set in 80's london, the film in present day generic american city (can't remember whch, sorry)). anyway back to da vinci code... i've got to say that paul bettany was awesome, tom hanks did the lead role justice and the little french bird who played sophie was cute... ron howard did the story justice
on sunday i settled down with 10 things i hate about you, having never seen this film before, but knowing it was a modern interpretation of a shakespeare classic, i was looking for a good film. what i found was a funny, cleverly done film, with many references to shakespeare and a really good soundtrack. some very cool and very funny bits in it...form heath ledger singing through to papa stratford referring to hell as "just a sauna"...although i seriously doubt that anyone would do the singing thing that ledger did in real life, especially not getting the marching band involved...still it's that kind of level of cheese that made me smile and think about things like the wedding in love actually...anyway i liked this film...
finally i sat and watched war of the worlds. i avoided tihs film initially when it first came out and was at the cinema...mainly because it had been so hyped up that i didn't want to be disappointed by it. it's a shame really because i thought it was just plain awesome, i've said it before, that dakota fanning will go a long way as long as she doesn't do a maculkin and fly off the rails and into micheal jacksons arms...everyone in it was good, the effects were amazing, it was an all round winner...although definately not a date movie...
out of them all i'd have to say 10 things was the only one i'd consider as a date omvie...although it depends on who you're seing and how long you've known them, i know some girls that would love saw 3...
anyway i've been rambling for far too long

this week does definately come with a disclaimer that if you choose to read on, you do so at your own behest as the answers this week will surely be TMI, and i've only read the questions so far, not even formulated my answers...
anyway here we go
1. Have you ever orgasmed sitting at your computer? What was the situation?
yes, yes i have, although the situation will remain private between me and the other person involved...but it was a lot of fun
and i defy any male (and some women) to sit there and say they've not surfed for porn at home and not done something about it...
2. Ever been sexual harassed? What happened?
not that i've noticed, but that's not to say it hasn't happened...i can be fairly blind to things like that at times...i'm sure there are times that if i were female then i'd have considered the situation to be harassment...like the time i went to a pub after the works xmas party and as i went to leave an unknown girl copped a feel of my arse...but being a bloke i laughed it off and bragged about it :)

apparently using tantric sex you'd have to say this is possible, never done it myself though, there's usually a lead time between finishing one off and being readdy to start the next one. said lead time is dependent on the stimuli and situation more than anything, or at least that's my findings...
5. Is there such a thing as too much sex?
too much...depends on how you look at it, i mean a two hour session can get painful and mean that i would want to stop...or rather had to stop because it was becoming uncomfortable, i wanted to carry on and would have if it hadn't been painful

reporting in for some monday madness
ok i've spent most of the day pissing around using a MAC :(
but generally the new job was ok, they're paying me and i've got at least 3 days a week for about 3 months...which will give me plenty of time to look for a job on the other two days, and also give me a chance to slot in interviews without having to take time off :)
i text woja this morning to say that the new job was crap
in fairness it was mainly because i was cold (no heating on in the office for some dumbass reason) and the guy showing me the ropes is self taught and doesn't like the idea that things can be done in other ways...ways that i'm used to doing them...which are a little quicker and more intuiative. anyway, once i got settled into it andcracked on with things it was pretty good, i felt as though i was accomplishing things and when i'm in next it'll be better because the guy who was showing me the ropes is on longterm sick as of tomorrow.
the only issues i've got are it's only 3 days a week and the money isn't great.
but like i said, it's income and it's also giving me time to look for other jobs and do other things in the meantime :)

there seemed to be some confusion over an answer in the previous post/meme in "girlfridn/boyfriend" i answered with "i think so"...
this means that it's not something we've discussed...as in what out relationship is...at the moment it's just a lot of texting and trying to arrange time to meet up again, and a lot of flirting and getting to know one another
it's early days people, too early to decide if it's she's a girlfriend...
i watched 4 films over the weekend...i suspect that i'll be commenting on all of them at some point (probably tomorrow)
the new chef started last night, i felt a bit sorry for him, i invited him out to the bar after he'd finished for a pint in the hopes that some of the locals would chat to him and all that, but even the landlord hardly said a word to him while he was out there...but he seems nice enough, just a little shy
saturday night at the pub was stupidly busy, we took a shed load of money and were fully booked for meals and it was mental trying to keep up with what was going on in there...
i'm sure there was something else i was going to go on about, but it gone straight out of my mind now
i'm edging very close to the 500 posts mark (i think this one is #497!!!)
what should i do to celebrate my big 500?
anyway peeps, i'm done for the day, hope you're all having a good start to the week

funky friday
no that doesn't mean i'm in a funk
quite the opposte really...which is odd considering the night and morning i've just had
ok lets break it down again
job front
i've got a job working with a local printing company doing the CAD work for them for 3 months, that's not to say i've stopped looking for a job though because if something else comes up then i'll be looking at taking that... anyway basically the owner of the company is having to go on sick leave from tuesday for at least 3 months, and the other guy that works there isn't very good with a pc, so i've been brought in to do it instead
it's work, it's money coming in and it's experience in yet another field
another string to my bow if you will...
last night
it was busy in the pub, but that wasn't that unusual, it's been slowly getting busier this year, and besides that was helping me take my mind off the growing pain i was getting in my face. it wasn't just a tooth ache, but most of the upper right jaw was aching. when i got in i thought it'd go away after a while, but at half 3 this morning, i was still awake, so i took some pain killers, they kinda kicked in about an hour later and i must've dropped off to sleep for a while around half 4. i woke up about an hour later and the pain was back :( i slept on and off form then until about 8. i called the dentist and got an emergency slot to go and have them have a look. i was in the dentist for about 2 hours in total because they were trying to fit me in around the other people they'd got booked in for this morning, this wasn't too hot because i was due at work at half 9 this morning, which was the time that i arrived at the dentist's...so after a few x-rays and a poke around the bloke said that my wisdom tooth was showing a lot of signs of decay and the x-ray showed that the nerve was decayed which was why half of my face hurt...
i hate the dentist
i don't like going and for me to walk in there this morning like i did and feel fine for most of the time was a shock to me, it wasn't until they said that i'd need to have the tooth pulled out that i started to feel bad, especially when they said they would do it there and then because if i was to have the sedation that i normally have, it could be a couple of weeks before i'd get it done. so i sucked it up and had it pulled without the sedation, only the normal injections.
and it was pretty painless :)

and the dentist kept commenting on the "weird" noises that he'd warned me about, but i tried to shut them out (fairly successfully too)
anyway i went to work just in time to get the rush on for lunchtime, thankfully someone had been kind enough to set my area up and prep all the stuff too :)
anyway becase i'm in such a good mood i've chosen something a little funky to listen too...but i just think it's such a bouncy tune and very cool. i'm giving you the video today so please watch it, the idea behind it was that the band emailed everyone on their website's mailing list and asked for home videos so the fans singing along and dancing to the track...they came up with this...
the best bits are the two asian guys, the little boys with his toy drum kit and the weird bloke who points at his bed before jumping on it. the girl in blue is a little weird with her video bits though

problems
interview:
the interview on tuesday went really well, right up to the point where they said that i hadn't got the job. it's cool though, it was an experience.
the presentatoin went well, i've proved to myself that i can do powerpoint and webpages, so that's cool, they even said that my presentation was strong. they also said that i was an obvious leader and that i had very good interactive skills from observing me with the rest of the group. but it all came down to a points system (?) and i hadn't scored enough...and it was very close...
oh well
they are keeping my details on record as they have a few vacancies coming up that they think i might be well suited for...
quiz:
so tango girl is on holiday at the moment, so i managed not to be thinking about that in the evening...
and jenfer came along again so that was cool, but seeing as we both arrived a little too late to be of any real use for the first round, we joined another team to see how we could do, we tied a couple of rounds, but as always we lost out on the tie-breaker, and came second overall so it was the usual performance from us :)
thanks again to linny who tried to help out, but we both got confused by which football this bloke played with...english or american...anyway it's all good :)

i've been asked to move out asap
seeing as i don't have a real job at the moment i might have a few issues with that, but i've emailed a couple of places so hopefully i'll be able to view them soon, and then put down the money for them...fingers crossed i get a real job before i run out of money...we shall have to wait and see though
bit crap really that i need to move so quickly, but it's ok in other ways because i need my space and all that and i guess that this will make me pull my finger out and get things done...
anyway i think that's pretty much all the news i have for the moment
check out the video from yesterday, it made me laugh and reminded me of a "better time" sitting in the back of 'A' level chemistry with woja and other peeps singing this song :)

TMI
I'm knackered and washed out after today's assessment day, unfortunately i didn't get offered the position...but i'll give a full post on that and everything else tomorrow, until then it's TMI time people...the usual rules apply, read on only if you really want to know...
1. Commando: Sexy or disgusting? Do you have a "best" commando story?
commando...as in no undies?
i'm not really into it myself, but i don't think it's disgusting, just more uncomfortable than anyway. although there is a liberated feeling of going around with no duds on. and there's the added benefit if your woman is going commando that you can just hitch her skirt up and you're away...but you can just hitch her skirt up and pull her knickers aside anyway if you're in that much of a sexy mood
2. Foreplay: Is there such a thing as too much?
i enjoy foreplay...but sometimes you just want to get to the sex!

monday madness
it's only time for a quickie today as i need to go and have a hair cut today and then sort out a presentation for a job interview that i've got tomorrow
it's an all day interview too, so i'm hoping that i can impress them...which is why i'm planning on getting a haircut...it's become a bit of a mop top at the moment...
currently looking to see if i can plan an activity programme for parents and babies.
thinking of doing a pool based activity initially, but i'm thinking i should also do a dryside activity programme too...depends on how much time i've got to do it all in though!
i've been told to "be creative" in how i'd promote the session(s) so i'm trying to work on some html (i'm hoping that after all this blogging i'll be able to do something interesting seeing as i've ripped their source code)
also looking at doing a powerpoint presentation (never done that before)
and some OHP's as well...got to cover all the bases right?
anyway peeps, i've also got to head into work for the lunchtime service...more loaves of bread!!! so with that in mind i've got to love you and leave you

then it was making sandwiches all lunchtime...although we had a quiet one today, we did 85 covers, that's one whole cover more than last friday...
anyway there appears to be some curiousity about the possibility of someone else that is taking my mind off tango girl

last weekend when i went to go and see my mate and get drunk i met a few nice people, one of them has been in touch a lot this week and that's cool. i'd like to get to know her better and i'm hoping that i'll be able to.
as for tango girl, like i said before, that's on hold until later...and now who knows
i'm sure there was something else i was supposed to tell you all
oh yeah
i've got yet another interview next week, although this one's being touted as an assessment day, it should be good and the job is back in leisure, so it's playing to my experience and strengths i hope. waiting to find out more about it, i've got to do a presentation during the day as well...no idea what that's on yet, the details are coming in the post soon.
i hope i get something soon otherwise i'm going to have to go back and sign on again because the landlord has got a candidate for the vacant chef's position, which will mean that i won't be doing the cold counter anymore...although that also means i won't be slicing bread...got to be positive about these things :)

i know what you all think about the situation and i'm glad i've had some form of input from you all...but in honesty, i know what i'm doing at the moment. she's off for a couple of weeks tomorrow and i don't want to say anything until she gets back at least, it's not fair

the interview wasn't bad, but the job was, the job was basically sitting there and matching invoices to delivery notes...and that's it, from 8.30 to 5.30, monday to friday, and seeing as it was work for an agency, the money would be less than i'm getting through the pub, so although i've not heard back from them ,i'm not going to accept the position if they do...i want something full time tha ti can get my teeth into, i understand that i'm more than likely going to need to start from the bottom and work up from there, but i'm as sure as hell not going to sit there matching one bit of paper with another for peanuts with an agency, not knowing if i'll be there much longer than a week...

post quiz post
ok TMI's below for those who are interested in what i had to say this week and those who want to know a little more about me, this week it was hard and was all about choices...nothing rude either which made a change
anyway
last night was quiz night as usual
was a good night
we managed to tie in 2 of the rounds and came second over all
which wasn't too bad, although in each of the tie breaks we were wrong so no prizes came our way!
lindsey, we didn't need you this week, there were no questions in the sports bit about america, but thanks for being primed and ready ;) it's always useful to have friends like you (and not just for the help in the quiz, i miss out chats)
actually there's a few people i should thank for being there and chatting with me, but that's a side note
anyway
i sat with tango girl and the rest of that team again this week, and i decided that i couldn't do it, that i couldn't ask her out. so i've decided not to do anything about it now, she's really nice, and as much as i would like something to happen, i'm too scared to get it together and just deal with it.
that was a hard choice, but i think it's probably the right one
irony states now that i'll get it together and ask her out before she goes on holiday at the weekend! because them's the rules!
it's pancake day today, so that's something to look forward to tonight...

last night was quiz night as usual
was a good night
we managed to tie in 2 of the rounds and came second over all
which wasn't too bad, although in each of the tie breaks we were wrong so no prizes came our way!
lindsey, we didn't need you this week, there were no questions in the sports bit about america, but thanks for being primed and ready ;) it's always useful to have friends like you (and not just for the help in the quiz, i miss out chats)
actually there's a few people i should thank for being there and chatting with me, but that's a side note
anyway
i sat with tango girl and the rest of that team again this week, and i decided that i couldn't do it, that i couldn't ask her out. so i've decided not to do anything about it now, she's really nice, and as much as i would like something to happen, i'm too scared to get it together and just deal with it.
that was a hard choice, but i think it's probably the right one
irony states now that i'll get it together and ask her out before she goes on holiday at the weekend! because them's the rules!
it's pancake day today, so that's something to look forward to tonight...

money can't buy you happiness, and that's very true, i'd rather have friends than money, friends can pick you up when you are down, hug you when you need it, money is just cold and hard

apart from the old classic, "i'm a lover not a fighter", there's not a lot i could say about it...i guess talking like him wouldn't be as bad as getting my ass whooped by him and then having to talk like him anyway...

i'm fairly sure i've answered something like this somewhere before, in honesty, i'd have to write a list of people that i'd bump off and then just pick the one that bugs me the most and kill them, i'd then have the others assassinated i think, although i might get a taste for it and as such want to do them over myself ;)

after an awesome night on friday
a much needed night it has to be said as well
i think the lack of sleep mixed with one or two other situations has put me in a not so good mood again. however, i am safe in the knowledge that i'll come out of it in a day or so and then everything will be all good again...i hope
i seem to be getting really clumsy at the moment, in the lasst week, i've broken 4 glasses and a coffee cup at work, if i continue i'm going to have to start paying to work there...
so it's monday
we all know what happens tonight
yeah that's it, the quiz
should be fun and games again
hopefully we'll win something better than the goodie bag
i'm on lunch duty all week again this week
nice and easy, i hope, we shall see though, but it does mean that i'm on fulltime hours again this week. it also means that i'm working split shifts 2 days as well though
and i've got to put up with what might be the manic friday lunch again (last week wasn't too bad, the week before was much worse, but i was on the bar then instead)
anyway i've got things on my mind again...probably best they stay there at the moment...maybe i'll let you in to a secret, but maybe not

Update:
feeling over tired still, fell asleep in front of the tv a little while ago, no biggie though, i'm always doing that, you know you get comfy, you're tuned into what you've got on the screen, but ont 100%...and then you wake up and it's the end credits...
feeling more chilled than i was this morning, part of that might have something to do with the pint i had after lunch though...and it was guiness again, not sure what's going on there, i seem to have started drinking it though. lunch was fairly busy, it was good too, right up to the point where i went to put the bowl containing a jacket potato with melted cheese on it onto the plate with the side salad and all that...forgetting that i'd just taken it out form under the grill, GENIUS!!! i've burnt the tips of my fingers in doing that, nothing major at all, but they carried on stinging all through service because every time i turned around i found another ticket that either wanted a jacket potato or a toastie...so i didn't get a chance to let them cool down properly (i know i'm supposed to run them under cold running water for at least 10 minutes, but i didn't get chance, kitchens can be busy places!).
eagle eyes (lisa) spotted something in the tags and commented about it...go look
anyway nuff said

i went to visit my friend on friday
i got drunk
i had a good time
i met some nice people
i was challenged by a student to a drinking comp
i think he lost because i kept drinking
i was on doubles when the others were on singles...
i got a proper hug off someone i've never met before
i had a drink spilt down my leg
i danced (i was that drunk)
i bought a kebab at the end of the night (i was that drunk)
i spent about £40 for the night (including kebabs)
i got in sometime after 3am
i woke up around 8am
i got home around noon yesterday
i didn't suffer the effects of a hangover
it was all good :)

it's oh god o'clock
and i can't sleep
it's like 6am
and it's not even funny that i've been awake for over an hour now
i didn't get to bed until gone midnight either!
stupid
anyway, i didn't make it home yesterday afternoon, and not because i was working. i killed my car!
basically what happened was i gave someone a lift home, but when i went to pull away from her house i couldn't find first (first was picking up second, second was getting third...) i went to visit chef in the pub next door and have a drink before giving him a lift home, but when we got in the car, it wouldn't pick up anything but 4th...great! anyway we got the car moving around the carpark, but couldn't get out because it was uphill...and uphill in 4th at about 5mph just isn't going to work is it!
called out the RAC to come and look at my car (went back into the pub and had another drink too) called a garage to warn them that we'd be coming over and that i'd need a courtesy car as well.
turns out that i've sheared the link between the gear stick and the gearbox (nice work huh?)
so the car is in the garage for an indetermined length of time, but they are going to sort out a couple of other issues as well for me...
anyway we jumped into the courtesy car, and did the sensible thing (because we both had to be back at our respective pubs in about an hour) and headed to the pub for another drink :)
needless to say when i started at 6 last night, i was in a pretty good mood.
when i got my paycheck, i was in an even better one :D
here's your song for the weekend, based on the fact that i can't get no sleep, and i'm heading out tonight for a heavy drinking session...i give you insomnia by faithless (give it time to kick in though, it's a builder of a song)

HNT time again
just a quick post again this morning to keep you all going
i may be back this afternoon, but at the moment it's unknown, i might be doing AFD (all fucking day) again at the pub, but we will see when i get there. i'm on the sandwich shift until further notice, that's fine with me, means that i've got 3 1/2 every day set...money is the way forward

interview update as promised
side note to start with...i have lurkers...this is interesting, i like the idea that there are people out there lurking in the shadows reading my posts...i'd like it more if they'd say hi once in a while though HINT HINT
ok the last 24 hours and a little more
first off the interview yesterday went pretty well, i was very honest with them saying that i was looking for something that would be new to me and come as a challenge, but also something that would allow me to grow and develop more with the role by taking on more responsibility. that seemed to go down well. i've decided that being honest is the best idea, which is what i've been all along. however, this may have been my downfall in the past by being too honest.
should hear back at the end of the week about that one.
pub quiz...i joined ken dodd's dad's dog's dead again last night, there were only 4 of us last night, ken dodd himself, 2 of the girls (one of whom being tango girl, but more on that later) and my bad self. we had a lot of laughs, although we didn't do as well as we had in past performances, not winning a round at all...btw, thanks go out to woja for the paul weller answer and also to linny for the oj simpson answer...you're both awesome, but seeing as we didn't win i've nothing to give you :) didn't think about it properly otherwise would've got jenfer on google...dammit! we did win the pontoon playoff though and were one out from getting the jackpot envelope, instead we got the goodie bag again...i nicked off with the (straight to) DVD of dracula 3000 while the others dished out the t-shirts and other shite...
interview today went pretty well, was for a health physics surveyor, which from my understanding means that i'll be checking the radiation levels in rooms and things like that, sounds pretty cool. sounds a little dangerous too, but i'm not worried about that... during the interview i had to do a mini maths test...all simple things...10 questions, 10 minutes and i could use a calculator (which i did, but only to check my answers) it took me about 5 minutes (that's including checking the answers)
should hear back from them by the end of next week...so fingers crossed there

ok so i've got less than 2 hours until i'm due at today's interview
i thought it would be for an estate agent...which i guess it kinda is, but not really.
although they are in the property market
it's not local property they sell, it's global!
why am i just finding this out?
i guess i should research things a little earlier than the morning of the interview. still it sounds more interesting now than i first thought, so that's got to be a bonus.
feeling better again today, seems as though i'm feeling better as each day passes...still no idea why i was down the other day, but a weekend of laying around on the sofa does wonders!
mum made a fatal mistake yesterday when she told my sister and nephew that he should be playing on the playstation because it strengthens your eyes...(according to some research that she'd read some place...) so i spent the next couple of hours strengthening my eyes :)
had a call at 1am this morning from a mate that i've not spoken to since xmas, she's invited me to go and be a student for the night at the end of the week...cheap drinks, good friends, i didn't need much convincing about that one. and it gets me out of the area for the day too

i thought it would be for an estate agent...which i guess it kinda is, but not really.
although they are in the property market
it's not local property they sell, it's global!
why am i just finding this out?
i guess i should research things a little earlier than the morning of the interview. still it sounds more interesting now than i first thought, so that's got to be a bonus.
feeling better again today, seems as though i'm feeling better as each day passes...still no idea why i was down the other day, but a weekend of laying around on the sofa does wonders!
mum made a fatal mistake yesterday when she told my sister and nephew that he should be playing on the playstation because it strengthens your eyes...(according to some research that she'd read some place...) so i spent the next couple of hours strengthening my eyes :)
had a call at 1am this morning from a mate that i've not spoken to since xmas, she's invited me to go and be a student for the night at the end of the week...cheap drinks, good friends, i didn't need much convincing about that one. and it gets me out of the area for the day too

so i took yesterday off
do you really blame me?
i spent a fair amount of the day feeling fairly bummed out still, but i'm feeling much better today :)
friday was pretty boring, and i hurt all over too.
i was supposed to have headed into london to see miss ash, but i had to call that off because of the way i was feeling (sorry ash, i would've loved to have met up with you)
te lunchtime rush tha we'd been expecting the week before came this week, it was mentally busy. there were a few people in that i knew though, so when it calmed down enough to give me a chance to wander around and collect glasses i was able to say hi to them and have a VERY quick catch up.
that was good though because it stopped me feeling blue
yesterday i did nothing, nothing at all and it was great!
i watched the remaining episodes of the 2nd series of battlestar galactica, i'm now all up to date with it :)
then i watched the rugby, england won again, so that was pretty good, although they weren't as convincing as they probably should've been! especially against the italians
and today i've done pretty much the same so far, just chilled and did nothing much at all
got to go to work tonight, expecting another quiet evening, but that's ok, i've got a book that i should be reading (it's work related, so i can take it in with me and no-one can really say anything)
after the snow of thursday and friday, it's bright sunshine again today!
the british weather is stupid!
quiz night tomorrow, i'll be there again, fingers crossed that we win something again this week, although i'd prefer it if we didn't win the sweets again...although i'll happily take them if we win them again :)
got two interviews this week, one on monday for an estate agent, should be ok, not sure if i'm 100% sold on it though, unsure if i'd get it either because again it's to do with accounts. then on tuesday i've got another interview, this one is something to do with health physics though...i've no idea what it'll be like, so that'll give me a few questions that i can ask when i get there, there's a shed load of forms that i need to fill out for that one too, including a medical. still it should be good
oh well
i'm not as blue as i was at the end of last week, but i'm still not up to the lofty high that i was at the start of the week...

well it's snowed here, but i'm not going to go out there and be half nekkid, sorry peeps! i don't want people to see that!

trials and tribulations
so yesterday we went and saw and conquered
we did eat food to increase our brain power (it failed)
and we also joined forces with a team called william d...to create a team called "super head" (i have no idea where it came from or why we were called it)
we ended the evening in joint second after winning 36 packets of chocloate covered raisins (poppets) which got shared out between the 6 of us
we did pretty well :)
we abused a friend of mine who's usually there and pretty good on the sports round to get more of the sports answers than we'd have got otherwise...so many thanks go out to him
been at work once already today, got another shift later too...split shifts are no fun, but have to be done...and to be honest they are pretty easy
got an interview possibility for tomorrow
no idea what for though

there are a few things on there i'd agree with, but i wouldn't say i was talkative or a freak in bed. and i certainly don't always get what i want

was going to blog about something else too, but have decided against it for now...need to have a convo with someone about it first me thinks...we shall see though
spoke to Miss Ash on sunday, she's in paris at the moment though, but we're hoping to meet up on friday for a drink
