ok just a mini update to show you the new additions to my family
ok so you remember last year when i got that cheap vivarium with the intention of buying a snake to live in it...well i changed my mind on the snake, but yesterday i found a use for it and i bought myself a pair of baby bearded dragons, at the moment they're about the size of my thumb (plus tail) but they should get bigger (up to about 20" max). they were going to be called errol and winston, but after having a bit of a kevin smith marathon yesterday they've been christened Jay and Silent Bob :) that's jay in the pic
i've not been about much and i've still not sorted the phone line or anything in the new place, although i'll be dealing with that this week hopefully
went out last night and it got very messy i got very drunk it was an awesome night out though but very very messy
felt it this morning when i got up
anyway work is a bit mental but it's nice to be working and on a monday and thursday evening it's nice ot be able to sit at the beach and eat my fish and chips or whatever take away i'm having that night :) the pub work is going well too
on the pub front i passed the exam i tok about 3 weeks ago which means i can now apply to hold a personal license, which is just another step on the ladder to running a pub :)
still thinking about where i should go on holiday this year...probably end up going someplace in the uk at this rate...and only for the day!
anyway peeps, it's lunch time and i've got to go and mow the lawn for my mum too, so i'll catch up with you all sometime soon i promise and linny, i've read your email, i'll reply in the week if i get time, but love and hugs are going out to you laters Px
it was made difficult by someone who was just being a pain in the ass for the sake of it i think, but i've moved into my new flat with jenfer :)
so i've almost got my bedroom sorted, then it's the living room to be tackled next...should be ok though
missing a few things, like a freezer and a sofa and chairs, but i'll be searching for them in the coming days/weeks and soon i'll have a place to be jealous of :)
anywaythat's about all i've got time to update at the moment, might be back tomorrow, but we'll have to see, i've got to go to the dentist again tomorrow, should be the last visit for a while though :)
i got one easter egg...that was nice :) not eaten it all yet, in fact i only just started it today (there's a pic of me and it over at the 365 place)
had to work yesterday even though it was a bank holiday and all of the independent places that i should've delivered to were shut, hell half the other stores weren't prepared for me either! everywhere i went yesterday didn't have any returns, nor did anywhere i was at today either apart from 2 places...
i spent yesterday afternoon on the beach...it was a stoney beach though so i didn't get sand anywhere thankfully :)
keep driving past heathrow airport, it's really making me want a holiday! (suggestions still welcome)

i've got that cold again :( it looks like i'm not going to shake it until hayfever season kicks in with avengence and then i'll be plagued by that too... dammit!
i move this weekend, i've not even thought about packing anything up, gave the ex some boxes for her to pack my stuff into, think it pissed her off a little that i'm moving and want all my furniture and saucepans and crockery and kitchen stuff and all that...but she knew i'd find someplace eventually and that i'd want it all when i did.
got sent a sound clip of a friend of mine singing a song by paulo nutini last night, it was really good, although she'll hate me for saying that, she's made me promise that i won't play it to anyone. i keep my promises sorry, i want people to hear it
i bought season 2 of lost the other day (didn't watch it when it was on the tv because the ex couldn't understand it and wanted me to tell her what was going on or change channels all the time) started watching that last night in the hotel (the rooms have all got tv/dvd players :)
also bought myself a PSP yesterday, i had some spare cash sloshing around and though it would be something of a treat and it'll keep me entertained while i'm away for work...which is did this morning while i waited 45 minutes for a shop to open...
apart from being ill again, life isn't doing too badly :) hope everyone had a great easter i promise to be over ot everyone's blogs this week if i can... laters Px
today i slept in and it was good yesterday i worked from 5am to 9pm behind the wheel all day things have been a bit mental this week what with working 2 jobs!
anyway, it's good friday which means that i've got the day off so i'm going to head out on my bike this afternoon :)

anyway i went out today on my own again and it's odd...when i'm on my own in the van things are ok all except for the stupid satnav...which today said i was off-roading (in a van, doing 60mph) don't you just love it when people don't update things for you?
anyway, i heard back from the job interview i had last week, they chose someone with more accounts experience...fair do's, i don't mind i spoke to the landlord yesterday, he got rid ot the new chef at the weekend, and i told him that seeing as i was seriously considering getting into the trade a lot more i was interested in the chef's position...he's waiting to hear back from someone else first, but thinks i could do it easily... i'll keep you posted on that

ok so i'm back from my over night trip, lets just say it was more than a little pointless and very boring i so how that i can get a real job sooner rather than later as this one is shit

it's sunday and i've lept really well the last two nights it's been bliss and better than that i've managed to go out both nights and have a good time while only having 2 pints...
so friday night i was supposed to be going out with mates from the pub, we were going into abingdon...but at the same time we were starting in abingdon...which is confusing i'm sure. anyway i've been taking all sorts of tablets to try and ease this cold away, none have really been working much, but it is getting better... so due to this and the fact that i wasn't really in the mood, i drove over and thought that maybe if ihave a few drinks then i'll kip on the sofa again, or i could drive home later. i chose the latter i got called weak through facebook because i didn't go out all night...which is fair enough, i called the guy weak last weekend for the same reason...lol
then last night i met up with my soon to be housemate and had a drink with her she's getting very excited at the prospect that we're becoming housemates, and to be honest i'm looking forwad to it too. she's going to help me find a woman by vetting any that i introduce to her, so i think i'm going to add that into the plan! we also joked about having dinner parties and things like that, you know, generally being civilised and cultured adults...yeah i can hear you all laughing from here...
get this too, i spent 3 hours emptying the loft yesterday, rooting through years and years worth of rubbish, or treasure depending on how you look at it. i found records, vinyl 7", 10" and 12" stuff dating back to the early 60's if not a little older. i found a record player from the same era that i'm dying to fix and see if i can get it working again...think of the money i could make from these things!!! i also found my old school reports from when i was like 7...how freaky is that? according to one report at the age of 7 i have a reading age of 9 and a half...see i was intellegent at one point!
anyway, seeing as it's sunday, i've got roast dinner today :) and it's not going to be long, so i'm going to sign off in a minute... just a warning, because this driving job is proper rubbish, it's unlikely that i'll be blogging on a daily basis any more :( and seeing that this week i've agreed to do a stupid amount of cover at the pub as well, i'm not sure when i'll be able to blog...however when i get my new home (under 2 weeks now) and get it up and running and will likely blog whenever i can...
