friday news

ok so after the double posting on tuesday i forgot to post and say that i'd got a call from the job in somerset, they said that although i impressed them with my answers nad said all the right things, i didn't get the job because one of hte other two candidates had got a shed load more experience. i knew this would be the outcome, but still i kinda hoped that i might get offered it so i could be tempted to turn it down.
the thame job still seems promising, although they've not made their minds up yet. i got told that in the two written tests that i did i came out with the highest scores they'd had. so that's a positive and about 50% of decision
other news, i've got another interview/chat today which a friend has set up for me, she said where she works they're looking for a new manager, so she got me some more details and hooked me up with a chat/interview. that's all good
this week i've kinda not been that bothered with filling in stuff like applicatoins, been feeling really lazy in that respect, kinda guess it's hitting me that things could be a while before i get something decent
in saying that i've been doing a little temp work as well this week, yesterday i started at 5.30, although i didn't actually do anything until nearly 9am...being a drivers mate has some perks, even though the money sucks the big one.
worked in the pub last night, it was dead, i know why too, it's the end f the month, people haven't been paid yet and xmas is just round the corner, so people are saving and stuff like that. but still i was so damned bored! and to make it worse i was so tired from getting up before 5 am!
i missed HNT yesterday, i'll sort something out though (for next week maybe)
i've uploaded all my wrestling pics (as woja will attest to) some are cool, others are not so good. i won't bore you with them though

just finished my second book (in as many weeks) first book was cell by stephen king and it was really cool, would make a great zombie horror film similar to night of the living dead or 28 days later. second book has apparently just been made into a film, it's called starter for 10 and was funny, a little predictable in some places, but then it's that kind of book that if it wasn't predictable you'd be disappointed in it. it was funny too which is always a bonus. it seems at the moment that i'm just digesting books, so if you've got any recommendations i'd appriciate them. reading the life of pi next because mum reckons it's good and she's just finished it
tonight might be the first night this week where i don't go out...or work. we shall see...
well i guess that's it really
