24 hours, 2 interviews and a lot of driving

still it should be fun...
in a little over 2 hours i've got my first interview, the position is a sector analyst in thame, fairly local, about 30-40 minutes drive depending on traffic and all that. the job seems to basicaly require me to be looking at figures all day and analysing them to work on ways of getting maximum occupancy and things like that for the hotel i'll be working at. the company are looking to invest a lot of time in training me to do the job, and the money certainly looks good (£25k+ pa) that would mean that if i get this job i'll have increased my salary by nearly £10k in a very short time frame (since june) not bad huh?
then after finishing up at that interview, i've got to rush home, pack an overnight bag and haul ass to somerset, some 120 miles away (about 2 hours according to the directions site that i use, the don't take into account my driving though) find the pub that i'm booked into and just chill for the evening so that i'm nice and fresh for tomorrow's interview. this job is a leisure centre manager position, working for the council, therefore the money's not too bad again (circa £22k - £24k pa), but the experience that i've got could get me this position and it's something i've done for 10+ years in total...we shall see
i've also got the added bonus of being able to start as soon as possible, which is always an added bonus for the prospective employer. the only issue with getting the job in somerset would be that i live 2 hours away and would have to commute until i could move (which hopefully wouldn't take too long to arrange) and living down there is much cheaper than living around where i am now

anyway i've not got either job yet so i need to chill and concentrate on getting them before thinking over which one i want...if i get either of them that is

PP the t-shirts were not £100, they were £15...i got £100 for my birthday, i spent a bulk of that on a stereo system (£190) and then got a couple of t-shirts

anyway 'nuff said, i need to go and get ready for my interviews
i'm pumped
i'm ready
i'm going to get them both because i'm that damned good!
laters peeps

Good luck on the job interviews. You'll probably be offered both positions and have the option of picking the one you like best! That's awesome.
