so i entered this competition

about 2 weeks ago
the prize was a date in london with one of the people running the competition
i entered thinking nothing would come of it
as i usually think when i enter competitions
thing is i got short-listed to the final 3 that would face a public vote to find out who would win
that was last wednesday
on friday i got an email to say i'd won
the date was last night
i went
i had a much better time than i'd expected
i mean it was really really cool, she was really good fun and easy to get along with, really chatty and generally we clicked
we were supposed to go to the theatre, but with the wine flowing we just got lost in conversation, chatting about everything and anything
it seemed very natural
and i'm thinking it'd be cool to do it again
