ok TMI's below for those who are interested in what i had to say this week and those who want to know a little more about me, this week it was hard and was all about choices...nothing rude either which made a change
anyway
last night was quiz night as usual
was a good night
we managed to tie in 2 of the rounds and came second over all
which wasn't too bad, although in each of the tie breaks we were wrong so no prizes came our way!
lindsey, we didn't need you this week, there were no questions in the sports bit about america, but thanks for being primed and ready ;) it's always useful to have friends like you (and not just for the help in the quiz, i miss out chats)
actually there's a few people i should thank for being there and chatting with me, but that's a side note
anyway
i sat with tango girl and the rest of that team again this week, and i decided that i couldn't do it, that i couldn't ask her out. so i've decided not to do anything about it now, she's really nice, and as much as i would like something to happen, i'm too scared to get it together and just deal with it.
that was a hard choice, but i think it's probably the right one
irony states now that i'll get it together and ask her out before she goes on holiday at the weekend! because them's the rules!
it's pancake day today, so that's something to look forward to tonight...
it does mean that i'm supposed to give something up for lent (what can i do without for 40 days?) i'm tempted to go without alcohol, but if i say that i'll head straight into the pub tomorrow and get plastered...it's pretty much the same with anything else i can think of. i guess i could give up sex for 40 days, but seeing as i'm not getting anyway it'd be like giving up smoking (which i don't do) or drinking coffee (which i can't stand)
oh well
nearly forgot, i've got another interview tomorrow, fingers crossed for that, and i've heard back from one of the ones i had last week. the one for the housing people, well they said i was too experienced...having never worked in that field EVER, i'm thinking it was a cop out answer!

no sex is NOT through choice...
i passive smoke due to working in a pub, but other than that i had childhood asthma and bronchitis, so me smoking would be worse than a "healthy" person smoking
and i'm just not a coffee fan, i'm not really a hot drinks person at all...but i'm learning, i drink tea now
as for the other thing...i'll get back to you on that, i'm contemplating going for a drink right now and telling her how i that i quite like her, but i'm just not sure enough on how she'd react, i'd rather keep a friend than lose one
you dont have to tell her youre crazy into her. just see if she wants to join you for a drink or a coffee date.. ok no not coffee cuase you dont like it but i dont know, hit a cafe and have a hot chocolate ;)
i completely forgot about pancake day until you said it. the girl childs surgery threw me off today so instead we had pizza.
You would know if there was any type of chemistry between the two of you. How is her body language when she's around you? Does she appear to be having a good time, laughing, joking around. If all the signs point to yes then just ask her out for a pint. Don't profess your undying love for her, that's creepy, but a drink is fine.
i just don't think it's fair to say anything at the moment as she's going away at the end of the week and so even if i said, "hey, you fancy going for a drink?" we wouldn't be able to until she got back
anyway, i've made my choice, i'm not going to do anything (at least until she comes back)
I have no advice for you when it comes to the ladies...
My track record is pretty shitacular. ;)
