friday funtimes

ok so its friday
i've done the course
and i've done the first week as a white van man
and in all honesty i can say that the course was by far the more interesting of the pair!

and i've seen the wrong side of 7am more times this week than i'd like to mention...
and i've also seen the wrong side of midnight most nights as well

still it's all for the plan

(have abridged the plan slightly and ignored previous plans which had a step 4 which was get woman, this has been put on hold until i've decided that it's time that it should go back on there as i'm having as much trouble as you are keeping up to date with my own whims...)

anyway
i can now check off the first item
and seeing as i shall be moving in just over 2 weeks, i'll soon be checking off the second one as well
once they are out of the way and i've got things settled with the job front (i reckon about a month to six weeks) i'll start thinking about where to go on holiday too...
i'm thinking a return to the states might be good
i'm also thinking about doing something different though, so something like a trekking holiday somewhere hot and where i can do stuff other than get drunk and get sunburnt

anyway i've not had much in the way of interesting things happen to me this week
although at the course yesterday we had a 40 minutes examination at the end of the day, it was one of them multiple guess question papers... i finished in 10 minutes and got up and left much to the shock/horror of other people in the room... i was allowed to, before you all think anything else... anyway hopefully next week i'll find out if i can apply for my personal license (which will legally allow me to sell and authorise the sale of alcohol within a designated premises (which must also have a license)) and from there i'm going to look into getting into the pub trade properly, you know, actually running my own pub
i think i could do that and i'd enjoy it too...

right then peeps

my first day

ok, so yesterday i embarked upon the career of being a white van man
yep, that's right, i'm now a multi drop delivery driver...
sounds exciting doesn't it!

it's not really

anyway yesterday was my first day i was due to spend it as basically a drivers mate with a guy called roger, this was so that i could learn about the paperwork and other such things, that was all.
as me and roger left the depot he got a call because one of the other drivers had called in sick...typical right?
well seeing as i was the only other preson around, i did his run
on my own

i wasn't overly sure where i was supposed to be going, but i had a road map and that was good enough for me
i got to the first drop and clipped a lexus while trying to park up
can you believe it, not only am i on my own, but i've hit an expensive car!
typical right
anyway i was writing a note to say that i'd hit the car and to contact my boss (i'd called him and told him too) when the guy who owned it showed up, he was actually fairly nice about the who situation, considering i'd just busted his light up nicely!
and after all this the first drop was closed anyway!

the rest of the day wasn't too bad, the boss called me just after i'd filled the van up to remind me that they took diesil and not petrol...i'd already worked this one out though, so that was ok, but as i was trying to pay for it (with the fuel card...not my money) it took 3 attempts to get the card to work

last night was quiz night
it was a good laugh, we didn't win anything
i told the girl that i worked the shift with last week that she had to come along, she did and she joined the bar team (not my team unless i'm working) but kept popping round to see me whenever the rounds had finished...she's quite nice :)

still no word on the flat yet, but i've got my fingers crossed, i'll call them later today if i've not heard anything

went to the dentist today again to have another 2 of the fillings done... got one more appointment to go to in a couple of weeks and then i should be all sorted for the time being.
half of my face is numb at the moment and as it's slowly coming round it feels like it's burning and it's really sore :(
still i've been a big brave boy again and all that, i'm conquering my fear slowly
i'll get there in the end :)

right i've got an interview this afternoon, hopefully my face will have come round by then, so i should go and start thinking about what i need to say there.

and i'm feeling a little better about things

although i've got a hell of a story to tell you all about my first day in the new job...think i might save it though...you'll laugh, trust me you WILL laugh!

anyway i've been driving all day and i'm shattered, but it's quiz night and i'm always up for a bit of that...
anyway peeps, i just winged in to let you all know that i'm ok really, i think i'd just had a bit of a pants weekend and let myself over think things that i really am not that bothered about normally!

life is for living and that's now part of the plan :)

sunday bloody sunday

ok i've decided that i'm drinking way too much at the moment
and you know what, although i thought i was comfortable with it, i'm not
i'm binge drinking
and as fun as it can be, i'm not enjoying it
i'm pretty sure it's because i've been a little overly depressed as of late
you know the whole not having a job, living with my mum and having no-one to hold my hand could be the reason for that
so really i should be getting a little bouyant now, what with the finding of somewhere to live and the new job that i start tomorrow
but you know what, i'm no happier today than i was last week, if anything, the realisation that i've been getting depressed is making the depression worse...
i know that i've got things going in the right direction now though
so i'm going to start being positive again

but firstly
i'm going to stop drinking
not completely, but i'm not going to be going out 2 or 3 times a week and getting totally wrecked, once a month should be ok though

i didn't make it to the gig last night either :(
i've got a cold that i caught off my mum, yesterday i had no voice, for the 3 days before that i had a continous headache, now i've got a runny nose, sore throat and my shoulders ache
i don't like having colds

that friday feeling

ok it's friday, yesterday was a nice and chilled day for me, i didn't work last night in the pub and well, pretty much everything i did yesterday was chilled and relaxed :)
i sat back and watched my name is earl, i'm now about half way through season one and i think it's awesome, i sat and watched some of the special features as well. i think it's an awesome show and i'm gutted i missed so many of them when they were shown on TV...anyway 'm making up for it now :)
also watched casino royale, the latest bond films, and i've got to say i was suitably surprised, i enjoyed it loads. they made a load of references back to the older bonds, including the nice use of an old aston martin and the sexual innuendo laden names (although i can't remember what it was that he called her now...) and for being an institution, the blond bond did himself proud. it also helped out with a few things that me and a couple of mates have discussed in the past (like why there can be some many different bonds and all that...we came up with it being a code name that's passed around a bit...seems logical now too)
today i went into the printshop and did some work, but the amount that was in would've taken the old guy most of the day and probably some of monday too...but it took me 3 hours, and seeing as there was nothing else left for me to do i packed up and finished for the day :)
i think i'm going to go in on tuesday over there and finish up a couple of things and then i'm all done as i start a full time driving job on monday (not working tuesday because i've got to go to the dentist and i've got an interview late in the afternoon, not working thursday either because i'm going on a course to get my personal license for the pub :) )
should also hear back in monday as to if i've been successful with the rental application, which could mean that this time next week i'm flapping around trying to make sure that i've packed everything ready for moving...
fingers crossed :)

ok lodas to report, things that i've been sitting on a while
ok maybe a while is a little bit of an exaggeration
things that i've been sitting on since tuesday...
1.) i have a full time job...the driving one that i was on about yesterday. this is a full time job, that's the important bit. the print shop work isn't full time, and as such wasn't helping things out as much as i'd have liked. however, i'm going to keep doing some work for the print shop on an ad hoc basis because it's fun work and it's not like i can't do it :)
2.) i've found a flat to live in, and although it's a bit on the less desirable side of things, once it's been made a little homely i'm sure it'll be fine. and i've got a flat mate to live there as well, making things a little easier for both of us :)
3.) things on the woman front are as always a little weird, i think that there's a possibility of someone coming along and things will be ok...but we shall see what happens there, i'mnot holding my breath though

so all in all the plan looks to be going ahead :)

proper hanging...

i went out last night
didn't realise that is was going to be a big night out though...
felt proper hanging this morning when i woke up after under 4 hours sleep because of it
felt fine last night though
but then last night i'd had:
1 pint of guinness
5 bottles of guinness
5 bottles of corona
and 5 shooters
it was a good night :)
and there were LOTS of fit young ladies about too

anyway just to keep you guys informed
i didn't get the flat that i'd put the offer in for (which is fine with me, like i said, it was too small for the money)
i've still not been paid from the print shop, apparently i'll get something on friday (i'll believe that when i see it)
but i'm in a better mood

i worked monday night, which was good, it'll give me a bit extra for next week :)
the quiz was pretty good, still played, even though i was working, but was a member of the bar team, which was me, steffi and sweet...sweet doesn't work there, he's just there all the time!
yesterday i didn't do much at all, apart from go out in the evening
today i went and had a very quick interview for a job that i'll be starting on monday, t's a driving job, and the hours are long, but the work is easy and its full time :)
i've got another interview next week, which will be more normal hours and should be better if i can get it (more money too)

on idea really what to say at the moment, things have been a little weird this week and going out last night has left me with my mind elsewhere

loads of stuff

ok so i'm checking in with the usual monday madness...

ok saturday i put an offer in for the house that i saw last week, think i'll be withdrawing it though as i'm just not interested in moving there because it was a hole!
and way too small and pokey for the money they want for it
besides i really need to sort out teh job before getting someplace to live...

i went out on saturday afternoon with some people i didn't know, although i do now...
that was cool
i had a good time

sunday was spent just chilling
i finally got round to watching napoleon dynamite...thought it was pretty good, although it wasa little weird in places...still i liked it :) then i had to go to work, work was ok, was feeling a little bleurgh though and really just wasn't into it...

today things are boring
work is ok, but the boss was in earlier (the one who is supposed to be on longterm sick leave) and irritated me and the other bloke here...and i've still not been paid, i'm supposed to get money every other week, i was told i'd get it mid week last week, then told i'll get it on friday...and i'm still waiting
it's pissing me off because i need the money!

ok so today is the day that every one is a little irish :)

tonight i intend on having a couple of pints of guinness
maybe a jamesons or two, depending on how i decide i'm travelling back (if i'm driving then i'll just have a couple of pints)

friday funtime

hey hey peeps
how's it all going with you all?
things with me are not too bad at all
i think i've conquered my fear of the dentist...so life is all good
although my mouth is really sore today (it's not the only bit of my that's sore, but more on that in a minute...)
so i had my 2nd wisdom tooth out yesterday and one of the 5 fillings that i need done. only one because basically i have that many issues with the dentist that i hate going and usually when i need to have work done i have to be sedated...but in trying to get over this i went in yesterday and had the work done without sedation...just the local needle thingy and that's it
and i coped quite well :)
just aches today because of the removal...

anyway, my backside is sore!
now there's a decent reason for this...
i bought myself a new bike, and i rode the 5 miles to work this morning
it felt good, although my arse hurts because i've not been on a bike for about 5 years! and i'm unfit, so the plan is to cycle as often as possible as in attempt to save money and get fit...
all good :)

now at the start of the week i wasn't feeling myself, i was feeling a little blue and i've been a quiet as a result. but, i'm getting through it ok and well i've had this with me all week too, sad i know, but it's kinda made me feel better :) now...
the eagle-eyed of you may have noticed yestrerday that a new link was added to the site...for the 365 P(roject)X which is basically just me joining in with some things that other people are doing. basically i'll be putting up a pick of myself every day that i'll take on that day...it's not like HNT, these are going to solely be portraits, i may have a play with them when i get more into photoshop...but at the moment they're just being taken using my phone

ok so there seems to be a fair bit of interest generated by yesterday's TMI as to how i got injured while kissing...

remember

but sometimes you meet someone who could put you off for a while

well this one girl that i hooked up with, she was really nice, pretty, tall, the sort that i'd go for on a looks basis alone (if i were that shallow, her name was rachel...see i found that out first)
anyway, while kissing her she sucked my tongue
this is itself isn't that bad
but she really sucked on it and was sucking it out of my mouth...
now i have a fat long ish tongue...which goes out a fair way
but the webbing under my tongue, well i know where it is and i can't stick my tongue out further than that allows
this girl sucked so hard that the webbing was cut on my teeth!
it hurt for days and i had issues eating some things and shit like that...
it was NOT cool

anyway, i didn't take her number or anything (which is a little bit of a shame because she was cute) so i never saw her again

this weeks post comes with the usually warning, but to be honest it's fairly tame i think, so feel free to learn more about me :)
1. What is your favorite charity? Do you you give your time or just money to that charity?
I try to give to charities that i know people are doing something for, i don't just give every month to charity. recently i sponsored a friend who had her head shaved, that was for SSNAP (sick babies and children). i gave to age concern for a while, but then my budget meant that i couldn't give as much any more...
so i don't have a favourite really, and i give money if i can spare it
2. Describe your bed. What side do you sleep on?
it's a double bed, pine head board, always got a thick duvet on it, even in the summer because i'm like that. i sleep on the side nearest the door...
3. How important is a partners kissing ability?
it's pretty important, i'm after someone who has many different styles of kissing and not just the full on "i'm kissing a washing machine" type of kiss. so as long as i can get the loving gentle kisses, the full-on washing machine kisses and everything in between without getting injured (yes that's happened in the past) then i'm happy
4. Have you ever purposely tried to seduce someone over a long period of time?
taking time to get to know someone isn't seducing them...but yeah i've done that before, it sometimes works, it sometimes goes very wrong...but you know what, i'd rather take my time with someone, learning about them and what makes them tick than run in and get it all wrong in the first 5 minutes, making myself look foolish/desperate/needy and offending them

do i prefer being on top or underneath...that depends, i like both

Yes
but seeing as i'm a fella, that hair that grows on my chin and face is pubic hair
however i'm not going to wuss out, i've been know to shave everything down in the past, i prefer to trim it though, short and neat looks better than that of the completely bald look

i went off the radar this week a little
but yesterday and friday i did something that i've needed to do for a while
i went out on the lash
i went and got drunk
and it was good

i did it a couple of weeks ago in high wycombe with my mate who's at uni there...
but this weekend was something different, this weekend i was at home and just drank locally...
this weekend it wasn't a big group of people
this weekend is wasn't so much about mixed company
this weekend was all about putting money across the bar and just kicking back.

it started friday, i decided that after finishing early i'd wing into the pub and have a pint before heading home, i actually ended up having 2 before heading home, but that was ok, i went home, didn't have any dinner, chilled out for a while then went back over to the pub to pick up the chef. now this is the same chaf that got sacked from the pub i work at, and i see him a fair amount these days. well we had a couple of pints there and headed back to deadcat for a few more and not having to worry about the car...
a few more became 6 or 7 i think...
i got in at about 3 saturday morning
but more importantly i'd had a good time

saturday i had to get up and be in work for 11 in the morning (pub work)
it was a very slow day, it's the first real sunny weekend so everyone is out in the garden and doing things and not coming to the pub...anyway when i finished i intended to go next door for one pint and then head home.
when i got next door i bumped into a few of the guys that i went out with the other week
one pint became 3
then we moved venues and went back into the pub where i had spent all day working
those 3 got added to
with 5 more
again it was a good night
i crashed out at a mates house on the sofa
got up at about 8 this morning, walked back to the pub because i'd been a good boy and left the car there and drive home

so ive been out a couple of times this weekend and had a very good time
it was a much needed time it has to be said
i was able to switch off and chill

it was all good

anyway, that's what i've been up to this weekend
