i've been told off by fuckkit for not blogging since friday
she should take a look at some of my friends blogs, mentioning no names*
the weekend was pretty dull
well after drinking heavily on friday night that is (3 pints of smiles heritage {real ale} and something like 7 doubles and 1 quadruple vodka and coke) i then worked saturday and sunday evenings, missing out on spanish's birthday party. i missed out on a lot of sleep too having less than 4 hours on friday night and not for interesting reasons (unfortunately) even though a few people seemed to think that i was getting rather close with one of the jokers** and only two of them had the cahoonas to ask me if anything had happened/was going on
gave my mum an inspired present for mothers day, a picture which i've posted on here before (link), only blown up to a decent size. i told her that i was tired of getting the clichèd bunch of flowers and/or box of chocolates, so i got her something that i thought was good. she's put it up on the wall already, was a bit shocked about that!!!
last night was quiz night, we won chocolate after a particularly pants music round, the music rounds are being offered out as guest slots at the moment, i've offered to do (another) one in a few weeks so i'm mentally trying to arrange some tracks ready for it ;o) part of me wants to make it as obscure as possible, but i need to make it fairly easy otherwise people won't enjoy it. they enjoyed the me first and the gimme gimmes round that i helped sort out the other week, well some of them enjoyed it, and there are now a lot of me first fans in oxfordshire :oD
i've been emailing an old flame from uni, i got in touch with her through friendsreunited.co.uk and we've been having a good chat and catch up, which is great. if you're reading, hey! :o) it's been really good to catch up with her and i've found myself waiting to hear from her again
i got harry potter and the goblet of fire over the weekend, have watched it just the once, also got event horizon, the batman quadrilology (not batman begins) and the bret hart story all on dvd at the weekend and i shall be watching them during the course of the week (watched bret hart, event horizon and harry potter once already, want to get through them all once before repeating them, although i wanna see HP again)
right i think i'm done really
i've had enough of work today and i've only been here about 2 hours (it's now about 45 minutes later than the time tag)
